Prevalence of middle mesial canals and Isthmi in mandibular molars in a subpopulation of Andhra Pradesh: an in vivo investigation using CBCT

Background: Pulp and root canal space is enigmatic highly complex. Encountering rare has become a norm with the advancements in technology of materials types equipment. The success treatment depends on effective removal bacteria from whole pulp space. A high percentage missed reported for failure Endodontic therapy. Mandibular molars have complex anatomy. Two roots two canals mesial one to distal common occurrence.    Nevertheless, incidence variation relatively high, including separate distolingual, mesiobuccal, C-Shaped canals, isthmus, additional root. wide range middle occurrence, i.e., 3.1 46.1%, world 28.3% North India. Aim: To identify prevalence true (MM) configuration Isthmi mandibular molar AP   subpopulation South India.   Materials methods: CBCT 89 patients were randomly selected institutional database. Data entry was performed Excel, data analysis done Statistical Package Social Sciences (SPSS). Results: Four images (4.5%) revealed Middle Mesial no statically significant occurrence. frequency isthmi 52.7%.  This showed considerable presence. Conclusion: MM are 4.5% Andhra Pradesh. Isthmuses very permanent molars. Isthmus about 58% seen Type II that presence without definite communication.
